(一)透明陶瓷(Transparent ceramics)

基于纳米技术,探索研究新型透明陶瓷(荧光透明陶瓷、磁光透明陶瓷、闪烁透明陶瓷、激光透明陶瓷、电光透明陶瓷、铁电透明陶瓷、窗口透明陶瓷等),推动其在半导体白光照明、激光照明、激光器、传感元器件、辐射探测、光学元器件等方面的应用。

(三)实验室建设(Laboratory)

课题组根据本研究方向的特点,利用中科院百人计划、国家863计划、上海市科技攻关计划、国家自然科学基金等纵向课题的经费,2007年建立了中科院上海光机所的首个透明陶瓷制备实验室,开始了上海光机所的透明陶瓷发展之路:

(四)科研成果(Research results)

γ-LiAlO2晶体生长及非极性GaN衬底研究

 γ-LiAlO2晶体实现了大尺寸(直径大于2英寸)制备,晶体(100)摇摆曲线FWHM最好达到17.7 arcsec,是目前(2008年)为止报道的最小值。发现在(302)γ-LiAlO2衬底上可以外延制备出非极性a面GaN薄膜,(302)γ-LiAlO2可以作为GaN的新型非极性衬底,并且其表面稳定性和热稳定性比(100)γ-LiAlO2衬底(其上可以外延制备出非极性m面GaN薄膜)要好些,和南京大学(2005年)和上海蓝光(2009年)合作实现了非极性a面GaN-LED/(302)γ-LiAlO2蓝光发射。

Y2O3基透明陶瓷研究

 2008年发明了感应加热制备透明陶瓷的装置(2010年获发明专利授权),2010年1月所制备高光学质量Y2O3基透明陶瓷尺寸达Φ140mm,2010年-2012年发表Y2O3基透明陶瓷论文20多篇,是该期间国际上Y2O3基透明陶瓷研究最有影响力的课题组之一 (2010年度研究员年度考核优秀)。

荧光陶瓷研究

 制备的荧光陶瓷可用于汽车照明和激光照明,其性能指标在行业处于领先地位。

TAG磁旋光透明陶瓷研究

 在国际上首次制备出TAG透明陶瓷,TAG是当前国际上最受关注的高功率1微米波段磁旋光透明陶瓷新材料。
